argumentative essay-:

Can one improve his/her English skills?

Most of us students would say that English is a Language- a subject which cannot be improved through lessons. But it's just a mindset we students have develop towards English, maybe as an excuse for ourselves? Actually if we're willing to, our English can be improved. But it takes a lot of time and practise to do so.

By making an effort to speak proper English in your daily life is one way to do so. Reading is of course another way where you can widen your range of vocabulary knowledge. Doing active reading instead of passive reading, one can highlight words providing important messages or go the extra mile to checkup on the words he or she is unfamiliar with.

English is fun and interesting only when you use a positive attitude to want learn it!

Those fond memories are just hard to be expunged. Yet each time I reminisce, I recoil as I've grown timorous from being hurt again. The diatribe they've launched at me just kept echoing at the back of my head. I couldn't get over it. Seeing them became anathema to me, though there's this stinging sensation inside which really hurts. They've made it clear that it is integral for us to go on separate ways. This dramatic ending which I've dread, alas came true.

It was the second week of Secondary 3 life. Most of us are rather settled down in our new classes. Yet the amount of workload we are inundated with are horrifying. The twentyfour-hours in a day just seem to elapse, leaving us with limited time to complete what we have to do. Most of us are probably drained out but I guess, we only can try cope and manage our time wisely. With those sporadic sleepless nights, I wonder how long our body can take all the stress accumulating in there.
A math lessons always leave us garbled with those algebraic expressions scribbled on the board, and that even the phlegmatic top student starts to panick with fear!
I am starting to miss those crazy fun times in lower secondary. I want my carefree schooling life back!
